Excel remove hidden quotation marks

Mar 13, 2014 路 Do a web search for "save excel as text without quotes". When I did this I found two simple solutions- 1. copy all cells and paste to notepad, or 2. save as "prn" file type (there's a vba command to do this also). Not sure Excel is the best tool to combine these text files for you in the first place- maybe a batch file would be better? E eclaudio.

One column of numbers copied over with no issues, but the other (and more important) column contains hidden quotes surrounding the numbers. I cannot change format, nor add the numbers, etc. I have tried using =value (mid (cell,1,len (cell)-1)) to remove the quotes, and have also tried using substitute, with no success.
